Eagles at Barber Park This Morning

It was cold at Barber Park in East Boise this morning. 24 degrees F. But there were some Bald Eagles flying - photo to left - and other birds. Total seen this morning - 3 juvenile Bald Eagles, 1 Adult Bald Eagle, 4 Great Blue Herons, 1 Northern Flicker, 1 Common Merganser and 14 Common Goldeneye. Flocks of Mallard Ducks, but no Canada Geese. The geese were, though, in the fields just to the north of the river and the park. Maybe a Swainson's Hawk, or maybe it was a phased Red-Tailed Hawk, that was flying very high. You be the judge, but let me know. All of these photos were taken this morning. Enjoy!
